王榮, 1958年4月生，漢族，江蘇濱海人，1976年10月加入中國共產黨，1975年7月參加工作，學歷研究生(南京農業大學農經系農業經濟管理專業)，博士，教授、研究員。

現任中央候補委員，廣東省委常委，深圳市委書記。

1975年7月-1978年3月，江蘇省濱海縣天場公社插隊；

1978年3月-1982年2月，南京農學院農經系農業經濟管理專業學習；

1982年2月-1985年2月，南京農學院農業經濟管理專業碩士研究生；

1985年2月-1988年1月，南京農業大學農經系農業經濟管理專業博士研究生；

1988年1月-1988年12月，南京農業大學農經系講師；

1988年12月-1989年9月，南京農業大學農經系副教授；

1989年9月-1990年9月，南京農業大學經貿學院副院長；

1990年9月-1992年8月，南京農業大學校長助理(其間：1991年10月-1992年6月荷蘭Tilburg大學進修)；

1992年8月-1994年5月，南京農業大學校長助理兼校長辦公室主任(1993年國務院批準享受政府特殊津貼)；

Wang Rong, Han Nationality, born in April in 1958 in Binhai, Jiangsu Province, joined CPC in October in 1976, started work in July in 1975, with a Master and Ph.D’s Degree. He is now Alternate Member of the CPC Central Committee, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Guangdong Province and Secretary of Leading Party Committee of Shenzhen municipal government.
